The way their mouth parts are shaped, dragonflies often look like they are smiling when they have their mouths closed.

 

This male ruddy darter (Sympetrum sanguineum) is no exception and look quite happy perched on some tall grass at Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park, Sweden.

Done
