Stylish Blue Feet - _TNY_7736

Apart from the nice view of the mandibles on this (Elaphrus cupreus) from the edgeof the Stenbäcken creek in Tyresta National Park, Sweden, I also find the metallic blue feet really cool - what could be the evolutionary advantage of those?
