Sitting Sideways - _TNY_7988
This is some sort of horse fly. I am not entirely sure which exact species this is, but I am pretty confident it is one of the 19 species of the Hybomitra genus found in Sweden (out of 240+ in the world).
I was sitting on a bench next to the garden pond in my mother-in-law's garden when this little lady with the beautiful eyes landed on the side of the bench. Since I had the camera in my hands, I attemted a shot of her and probably looked a bit weird contorting my body to get her into focus, but I managed a shot so I am happy.
