Very Bug Eyes, Pt. 2 - _TNY_7187
I posted a shot of a zebra spider eating a March fly on the Bergenia a little while back (www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/53715870113/). Well, that wasn't the only March fly/St Mark's fly there so here is a shot of a still very alive one. Pretty cool eyes, right?
This is a male of either a variable Bibio (Bibio varipes) or a lesser variable Bibio (Bibio lanigerus).
