Owl of the Forest, Pt. 2 - _TNY_7057

The forest giant owl butterfly (Caligo eurilochus) is not as common at the Haga Ocean butterfly house as it's cousin, the pale giant owl butterfly (Caligo memnon), but just like it, this species typically only rest with the wings closed, making taking a photo of the dorsal side of the wings somewhat difficult.

 

Here is one which didn't mind though so I got a couple of shots of it.
