Black and White Swallowtail, Pt. 2 - _TNY_6650
This is the same lime swallowtail (Papilio demoleus) which I photographed excreeting a liquid right after crawling out of its chrysalis here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/53517180070/
As you can see in this shot which was taken a bit later, the green stuff is still protruding out (though less) which honestly looks like it shouldn't.
Regardless of this, it is a mighty fine butterfly and I must say I am quite pleased with the end result.
