Morpho Core Strength - _TNY_1552

Here is a pair of blue-banded morphos (Morpho achilles) coupled in mating on a twig.

 

This angle doesn't show it very well, but the male (below) isn't actually holding on to anything except the coupling to the female. Imagine having that core strength!
