Another handheld flash shot from a recent visit to the Haga Ocean butterfly house in Solna, Sweden.
This one resting on the floor with some small water drops on its body is a gold rim swallowtail (Battus polydamas), also known as the tailless swallowtail.
The underside is also really pretty (like here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51938827468/), but unfortunately, this one wasn't interested in showing me that side.
Also, doesn't that proboscis look made out of licorice?
