Race to the Top - _TNY_7702

While exploring the rocks at the Oxnö klippbad bathing site together with my wife, I found a small tuft of grass which really had a whole bunch of little inhabitants.

On of one of the tallest blades of grass in the tuft, I found two small birch catkin bugs (Kleidocerys resedae) which both had decided that the top was where to be so they were hurrying up as fast as they could and when they got up, they appeared kind of confused what to do next.

If you have a look here, I have a shot of these two - but with a flea beetle which had the same idea and decided to climb one of the beetles as well: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52138677624/

A willow beetle was among the other inhabitants of the grass tuft and a photo of that one is here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/53637215107/

While I was doing this, my wife snapped a photo of me (I need a haircut) which can be found here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52137414252/
