All Green, No Ants - _TNY_6841
One of my favourite species at the Haga Ocean butterfly house is the green-banded peacock (Papilio palinurus), also known as the emerald swallowtail.
I found this particular specimen on the ground where he was being mobbed by a bunch of those pesky ants so I managed to get him to climb up on my finger and he let me get the ants of him (and crushed) before I placed him on this plant.
Do zoom in and you can see the tiny green scales covering him (or her, I suppose). The wing injuries were not an issue for flying as he took off after a while and flew just fine.
