Golden Shimmer, Pt. 2 - _TNY_6690

The ringlet (Aphantopus hyperantus) has to be one of Sweden's most common butterflies and with their unassuming colour scheme they are often over-looked for the more colourful relatives.

 

Looking closer at them, I would say they are actually pretty darn nice though with a slightly golden shimmer to them.

 

Not that it is difficult to find them, but I came across this particular one while walking around the old limestone quarry at Stora Vika north of Nynäshamn, Sweden.
