Vanta Black - _TNY_6823

The male orange-banded shoemaker (Catonephele orites) is actually a quite difficult species to photograph.

 

I mean, not to photograph, but the *very* black colour of it just sucks up the light, making it difficult to capture any details. End exposing for it being so dark means you tend to blow out the vibrant orange-yellow band on the wings so you have to compromise or get creative in Photoshop.
