Mineral Butterfly - _TNY_1271

The Malachite butterfly (Siproeta stelenes) is named after the gren mineral of the same name. (And the mineral is in turn named after the mallow flower.)

 

Sometimes, the colour of the wings appear mucgh more yellow (like here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/53624353157/) and the name doesn't make sense, but in this shot, I believe it to be quite fitting.
