Perfect Pose, Pt. 3 - _TNY_1649
I am really pleased with this shot, taken an the Haga Ocean butterfly house in Solna, Sweden.
I am pretty sure it is a mylotes cattleheart (Parides eurimedes), but I really can't rule out it being an anchises cattleheart (P. anchises) instead.
Unfortunately for me, while it posed very nicely like this, it never opened its wings so that I could get a look at the markings on the dorsal side of the wings.
If you zoom in on the black wings, the texture of them, looking very much like some sort of cloth, is showing nicely.
Part 1 has some nice bokeh balls in the background. You can find it here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52652719314/
Part 2 instead is a two exposure focus stack and can be found here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52652719314/
The cattleheart kept staying still so I captured a short video of it and the surroundings here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52710257441/
