American Friend, Pt. 2 - _TNY_2083

The black swallowtail (Papilio polyxenes) is an American species - and a very pretty one at that.

This one was on the floor at the Haga Ocean butterfly house in Solna, Sweden and since I didn't want to risk it being stepped on by visitors looking more up than down, I gently moved it to a rock.

On said rock, it rewarded me with allowing me to take phots from several angles, including this one which I quite like as there is very nice light shining through the wings.
