Here is a female European wool carder bee (Anthidium manicatum) sitting on the fleshy "leaves" of a house leek (Sempervivum tectorum).
This flower grows low and close to the ground, but the flowers grow like surprisingly tall towers out of it and since they have quite a lot of hair on the flowers, these bees like to collect said hairs and use it to line their egg chambers.
