Too Much Pollen - _TNY_8087
No perfect identification on this one, but with some help, I now know it must one of two species. It is probably a female buffish mining bee (Andrena nigroaenea), but there is a possibility of it being A. carantonica instead.
The way to tell these apart is to look at the hairs of pollen baskets on the hind legs - but since this little girl has been so successful at gathering pollen, it is quite difficult to make out what colour hairs are under there.
