While exploring the peninsula of Värmdö east of Stockholm by car on a day in late July, we made a stop at Skäggaudd where I noticed somthing white on a thistle.
Looking closer, I found this female goldenrod crab spider (Misumena vatia) who had caught herself a female tachinid fly known as Gymnosoma nudifrons.
