The Tiny Turtle, Pt. 2 - _TNY_5027

(Eurygaster teThis is a shield bug known as the tortoise bug (Eurygaster testudinaria) hich I found at Åva-Stensjödal in the Tyresta National Park south of Stockholm, Sweden in late August.

 

Since Swedish has the same word for turtle and tortoise and I named my Flickr account after my pet turtle who at least initially was tiny - this bug feels a little special as the extra-tiny turtle).
