In Need of Ironing - _TNY_1607

Here is a Constantine's swallowtail (Papilio constantinus) which was disturbed a bit when unfolding its wings after crawling out of the chrysalis so they hardened when not completely flat.

 

Fortunately for this one, it was still able to fly - butterflies tend to be able to fly with quite a lot of wing damage as they have so much wing area compared to their weight.
