Identification Woes - _TNY_3116
Here is a butterfly in the Parides genus which I found at the Haga Ocean butterfly house. Since the top spots are white and not pale green, we can say that it is a female.
The species which the butterfly has on its list of species that they sometimes have is the mylotes cattleheart (Parides eurimedes), but I'm thinking the white spots are a little too small for that (compare it to this one: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52964306784/) so possibly this could be a Parides aeneas instead - or it could be just a variation and still the regular P. eurimedes.
For a shot showing the underside of these, have a look here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52960191286/
