The Eyes, Pt. 9 - _TNY_6115

Just look at the beautiful eyes on this female common hawker/sedge darner/moorland hawker (Aeshna juncea).

 

Here she is in the process of depositing her eggs in the garden pond in my mother-in-law's garden and after a couple of tries I got close enough to snap some shots.
