Carpeted Nature Reserve - _TNY_4286
I took this shot of a geometrid moth known as the silver-ground carpet (Xanthorhoe montanata) in the Mjällådalen nature reserve not far (sub 40 km) from Härnösand, Sweden.
Unfortunately, I misjudged how white the moth actually was and set the flash power way too high, resulting in a severely overexposed shot.
But thanks to the wonders of RAW photos - this turned out to be entirely possible to dial back in post resulting in this photo.
