Hump? What Hump? - _TNY_6334

I couldn't believe my luck a couple of days ago when I found a species which has eluded me for a couple of years now. Say hell to this juvenile humped orbweb spider (Gibbaranea gibbosa) which was hanging out on the outside of a window on a door of my mom's summer house in Värmdö, Sweden (on the same door as behind me in this shot: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51242586783/ from a different occasion).

I just think the green colour makes 'em look lo cool and it being just a juvenile was unfortunate - but I am still stoked.

Juvenile obviously means small, this one was in fact so small that I took this shot with as high magnification as my equipment can manage. This is an uncropped, fullframe shot at max magnification, 5:1, on the Canon MP-E65mm lens so the spider was just around 3 mm / .12" in length.
