A Naming Mistake, Pt. 2 - _TNY_1034
This fuzzy bee which I found just outside the Drevviken nature reserve just south of Stockholm, Sweden is called the orange-tailed mining bee (Andrena haemorrhoa).
Looking at it on this picture makes me think someone messed up a bit. Sure there is plenty of orange hair - but it is clearly not on its tail!
