Actual Rose Chafer - _TNY_5098
The green rose chafer (Cetonia aurata) is typically metallic green all over, but some specimens develop a bit of a rose tint. This one, from the Sandemar nature reserve which I visited in late July together with my wife is the rosiest one I have ever seen. There were a whole bunch of them on this flower, munching pollen, but this one really stood out with that colour.
