Yellow or Green - _TNY_5872 (Re-Edit)

The malachite (Siproeta stelenes) is a butterfly named after the mineral malachite (duh) - which in turn is named after the flower mallow (Malva sp.).

 

Malachite the mineral has a special green colour, but the green of the flower is a bit more elusive. It varies and sometimes (like here) it wanders into yellow territory while others are more distinctly green.
