Dark Wings, Pink Flower, Pt. 7 - _TNY_4048

I'm having a hard time believing it was more than five years ago that I visited Phu Quoc, Vietnam now, but the dates don't lie. Wish I could go back soon.

 

Here's a shot from that trip - a male pied paddy skimmer (Neurothemis tullia) perched on a twig and the spot of colour in the background is the flower of a pink Madagascar periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus) in the gardens at Mercury Phu Quoc Resort & Villas.
