Last Call, Pt. 2 - _TNY_3284P2
Out at my mom's summer house for the day and was pretty much busy the entire day so no time to pick up the camera.
As we were packing up to go home however, I noticed this ribbed pine borer (Rhagium inquisitor) perfectly still on the patio so I snapped a couple of shots and they came out pretty nice to be honest.
This was shot at 3.3:1 magnification, but is actually a 2 exposure panorama - one with the antennae cut off but showing more of the body and one where all of the anteannae are in frame and stitched using Kolor Autopano Giga which resulted in a 59 megapixel image so there is plenty of zooming in to be had.
