Unusual Color, Pt. 2 - _TNY_5166

The leaf beetle known as Plagiosterna aenea (no common English name) normally has a carapace in metallic green and sometimes with a blue tinge, but this specimen from the Sandemar nature reserve had a really nifty variation with a blueish green front part and a fade to dark brown at the rear.
