A close portrait of a green tiger beetle (Cicindela campestris) at 2.4:1 magnification, shot in mid- April (of 2023) near Tyresta by in Tyresta National Park, a little to the south of Stockholm, Sweden.
Looking at those mandibles, it is not hard to figure out if this is a herbivore or a carnivore, right?
