Wolf Fur - _TNY_0300

Wolf spiders are named that way because they hunt on the run rather than making webs (though there are exceptions like this one I found in Thailand: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/16254397694/).

 

But looking at this spotted wolf spider (Pardosa amentata) in my hand at Havtornsudd Point on the Gålö peninsula, they also have a lovely fur coat in common.
