Alder Weevil, Pt. 2 - _TNY_5437S2

This weevil which was trying to stay still and invisible on a leaf in the Mjällådalen nature reserve near Härnösand, Sweden today doesn't have a common English name, but the scientific one is Polydrusus fulvicornis. The Swedish common name has "al" in it which translates into alder which is fitting with me finding it on an alder leaf.

Shot at 3.7:1 magnification with the Canon MP-E65mm lens and since it stayed nice and still I took two shots with slightly shifted focus and focus-stacked them using Zerene Stacker for a little extra depth of field.
