"Clouded-bordered brindle" (Apamea crenata) is a pretty fancy name, but I'm leaning towards the Swedish "sommarängsfly" meaning "summer meadow moth" actually being a prettier name.
This species has a quite frequent darker colour-variation (ab. combusta) which perhaps is the reason for the German name: "Große Veränderliche Grasbüscheleule" meaing something along the lines of "large variable grass bush moth".
