The Wingspan - _TNY_3096

A positively huge atlas moth (Attacus atlas) sleeping on top of the coccoon it crawled out of waiting for the evening to come to fly in search of a potential mate.

 

Around it here are chysalides of a couple of other species, but the only one I can identify for you are the pale ones with small black spots which are the large tree nymph (Idea leuconoe).
