A couple of days ago, I (finally) got around to cleaning my winter tires so I don't have to do it in the cold of October or November.
As I was finishing up, I found this male cucumber spider (Araniella sp.) on one of the tires and it made for a neat background behind such a splash of colour.
There are seven species of Araniella spiders in Sweden, but this photo isn't conclusive enough to tell which of them he belongs to.
