This is a Closeup - _TNY_1899P6

Well, no it isn't a close-up, but since it is a panorma stitched together from six 50.6 Megapixel photos, you can zoom in on it and when you get to 100%, you're going to only see parts of the butterfly so how about we call it a "closeup of.sorts"?

The butterfly in question here is a Peleides blue morpho (Morpho peleides) at the Haga Ocean butterfly house in Solna, Sweden.

I shot this one from unusually far away and since the camera was on a tripod, I just swiveled the camera and took a shot to the left and then to the right and then took three more above those and fed all the shots into Kolor Autopano Giga, a now abandoned - but still great - piece of software for making panorama shots.

The final photo is 14689x9020 - which equals about 132.5 megapixel. Is this something you want to see more of in future shots from the butterfly house?
