With Reach - _TNY_3880
Here is one of the first attempts at shooting beautiful demoiselles (Calopteryx virgo) using the Sigma 180 mm macro lens plus a 2x teleconverter (turning it into a 360 mm manual focus lens).
Keeping it steady is an issue, and the sharpness isn't on par with the close shots I've gotten with the 100 mm - but the much increased reach meant that I was able to get shots in the first place as they were a bit jittery this day and scared quite easily.
