Smol Spider - _TNY_3769
Jumping spiders are cute. And the juvinile specimens are even cuter, but when you find a juvenile of an already small species like this v-fronted jumper (Aelurillus v-insignitus), they are so small that they become difficult to keep track of.
Mister or miss jumper here was about 1.5 mm in length and I shot this at 2.4:1 magnification so with the shalow depth of field and the great caouflage against the rock, it was downright difficult to locate the spider in the viewfinder. And when I finally did, of course it teleported away like twenty times its body length - and out of frame.
There were a couple that came out alright though - like this one.
