Not That Kind of "Mining" Bee, Pt. 2 - _TNY_9262
When visiting the Edsele gruva quarry (looking like this: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52659275123/), I couldn't find many macro subjects to shoot, but at least this cute plasterer bee ended up on the sensor a couple of times.
It is impossible to tell which of the two it is, but this is either a Davies' Colletes (Colletes daviesanus or a bare-saddled Colletes (C. similis).
If you have a look at the huge photo in the link above, this was shot pretty much exactly behind the white car in the background.
