Good Light - _TNY_1953

When I shoot butterflies, the butterfly house has a no flash policy. I try and circumvent this by using a tripod which allows for longer shutter times and this works pretty well.

This gold rim swallowtail (Battus polydamas), also known as the tailless swallowtail, fortunately sat on a tree in really good light so the details on it came quite nicer than usual. I think it is worth a zoom in - especially on those orange tufts of hair on its body.
