This blue-banded morpho (Morpho achilles) is one of the most common butterfles at the Haga Ocean butterfly house in Solna, Sweden, but despite it being a common sight, I am really happy with this photo. Nice detail, pretty colours and a good pose.
The blue colour is actually really difficult to capture correctly, but this one is a fairly good representation even if the metallic shimmer is lost in the still photo.
