Rational Name - _TNY_3031

The problem with naming butterflies after their appearance is that they have two so separate sides.

From this angle, the name Juno silverspot (Dione juno), also known as the juno longwing or juno heliconian, makes perfect sense as this side is covered with silver spots. But if you see it with the wings open, like in the shot I posted yesterday of another one here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52892400368/ - then the same feels quite off.

This obviously also makes figuring out what species I have found a bit trickier - but that is part of the fun really.
