Innocent in White - _TNY_9464S2

A short (just two exposures) focus stack of a bird-cherry ermine moth (Yponomeuta evonymella) at 2.4:1 magnification.

These look quite innocent in their white outfit, but the larvae of these like to work together and cover parts of trees (specifically bird-cherry (Prunus padus) in silk and then stay in there and devour the leaves of the tree).
