Face Full of Pollen - _TNY_3540
A brown-banded carder bee (Bombus humilis) which, judging my the face full of the stuff, apparently had found a good source of pollen on a woolly burdock (Arctium tomentosum) at Åva-Stensjödal in the Tyresta National Park, southeast of Stockholm, Sweden.
I really like the flowers on the woolly burdock (as do the bugs!) - the pale pink thingies look like a bunch of tiny hands reaching up towards the bumblebee!
