Brand New - _TNY_2165
The king swallowtail (Papilio thoas) is a pretty species found in North America.
I have found this one before at the Haga Ocean butterlfy house in Solna, Sweden, but so far I have only been able to photograph the dorsal side of the wings. Interestingly, the ventral side of the wings is pretty much an inverted version of the dorsal with black bands on yellow. Hopefully, I'll snap one eventually
This specimen was brand new and hadn't made its first flight yet so the wings were literally in mint condition.
