Weirdly Named - _TNY_8542

The slow worm (Anguis fragilis) is neither a worm nor slow.

In Swedish it is known as "kopparödla" - copper lizard, but since it lacks legs, many think it is called "kopparorm" - copper snake insetead.

This one tried staying still in front of me for a little while and then suddenly did a 180 and slitered away through the dry leaves on the ground and disappeared almost instantly.
