Cleared for Landing - _TNY_4357
Unlike most other bees, the European wool carder bee (Anthidium manincatum) can hover in mid-air. This is quite helpful when you want to capture them flying as they sometimes pause right in front of the flower before landing.
I wouldn't say it is easy to capture these as they are quite skittish but with a little time and effort, it's entirely possible.
