Scales for Miles - _TNY_2994S3

This is a tortricid moth and I'm prety sure it is one called the common marble (Celypha lacunana).

 

It's a three-exposure focus stack for some added depth of field and I must say, I'm beginning to really enjoy shooting these small ones.

 

They may look plain from further away, but the texture and those almost featherly scales look really cool up close.

 

Also, the eyes seem to come out really neat in these shots - like they have a coarser texture than other moths or something (maybe it's the size?).
