Here is a leaf beetle known as Plagiosterna aenea (no English name.) Leaf beetles like to eat leaves and this one is particularily interested in the leaves of the alder trees.
It was walking around on a leaf and was actually really difficult to shoot. The aforementioned walking meant he kept walking out of focus which combined with the difficulty with getting proper flash settings to capture the very reflective metallic green colour meant that I bothered this one for quite a long time to get a shot that I was happy with.
